Hi Shanghai Haas Alumni,
For those of you who missed the Halloween and Thanksgiving events, we had great turn-outs numbering 21 and 34 respectively. We were going to take a break in December and reconvene in January to welcome the China Trek of current Haas students; then skip February to take a break following Chinese New Year. However, we were informed that this year there will be no China Trek in January, so looking at the prospects of not getting together until next March, we are having a Christmas get together for those of you staying in town. Details:
Event: Haas Alumni Network-Shanghai “Christmas Open House”
Date: Saturday, December 24, 2011
Time: 10 AM � 6 PM (simple lunch will be provided during lunch time)
Place: Chez Ann (Minhang District, 3535 Yindu Road #71, near Humin Road; 闵行区银都路3535弄71号近沪闵路)
Cost: FREE (HAN-Shanghai Chapter will foot the bill)

This will be a relatively informal gathering where you can come and go as your schedule permits. You can come by yourself or bring family and friends. We will have some activities planned for the kids (pizza making, cookie making/decorating, Christmas tree decorating, etc.). Mingling will be the main activity for the adults (if you’re not participating in the kids’ activities). Simple lunch (noodles) and snacks and drinks will be provided. You are also welcome to bring sweets or other food to share.

Driving:
Take Humin Highway to Xinzhuang direction and change to S4 Freeway, 3rd exit on S4 is Yindu Rd; follow ramp to the right and go straight on Yindu Rd, pass 2 traffic lights; then 4th pedestrian walkway on the LEFT is 3535 Yindu Rd.
沪闵高架路到莘庄立交桥转S4公路；第三出口是银都路，只能右转；过两个红绿灯，第四个人行道的左边将是3535弄（君临颐和花园）。You will have to find parking inside the compound; ask the security people who will need to call me to let you in.
Subway:
Take Line 1 to end of line in Xinzhuang; change to Line 5 for 2 stops at Yindu Road; walk east across Yindu bridge for about 150 meters, #3535 is on the right.
地铁一号线至莘庄，换乘五号线2战到银都路站，出站到银都路右转走150米（过银都桥），右手边就是3535弄（君临颐和花园）。Tell the security you want #71, and they will call me.
